FRACTIONAL LEADERSHIP | BRAND & MARKETING | CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
Marketing, Brand, and Communications Leadership.
When You Need It Most.
Executive leadership shaped to what the moment requires, full-time to cover a gap, or ongoing at a fraction of the time, for as long as it's needed. I bring senior marketing, brand, and communications leadership to companies that need it: outside strategy to sharpen your brand and marketing direction, or a steady hand guiding your communications through the moments that put your reputation on the line. Whatever the situation, I bring the judgment and experience to keep important work moving forward.
SELECT WAYS TO ENGAGE
Every engagement starts with a conversation about what you actually need.
How you can bring me in
01
Fractional Leadership
Senior marketing, brand, or communications leadership, in place for exactly as long as you need it: full-time to cover a gap, or ongoing at a fraction of the time. No commitment to a permanent hire. I lead the strategy, and whether your in-house team executes it or I bring in outside talent, the standard doesn’t change.
IN PRACTICE
Cover executive leadership during a vacancy, search, or before a permanent hire, so decision-making never stalls
Give an existing team senior direction through a merger, reorganization, or major initiative, without adding headcount
Direct marketing technology migrations across CRM (contact data), email (campaigns), website, and data infrastructure, so departments work from one connected system instead of separate tools
Apply AI across marketing operations, so a lean team handles more without added headcount
02
Brand & Marketing
Whether it's a rebrand, a merger, a new market, or your next big push, these moments call for someone who has been through them before. With 25 years in brand and marketing, I work alongside your team or agency to keep the direction and the message aligned.
IN PRACTICE
Build a strong, defensible brand position for a rebrand, merger, or entry into a new market
Set marketing direction and budget priorities behind your next big push
Bring senior strategic direction to a team or agency ready to take the next step
Align messaging so the brand shows up consistently, everywhere it counts
03
Corporate Communications
Protecting your reputation and keeping leadership, legal, and every stakeholder aligned, before, during, and after the moments that matter most.
IN PRACTICE
Protect trust with employees, customers, investors, and the media under scrutiny
Guide the process of building a readiness plan and playbook with the right expert specializing in your industry, so it fits your company before a crisis hits.
Get ahead of a major announcement, leadership change, or transition before it becomes a story
Lead a coordinated response when it counts: leadership, legal, communications, and any other department involved moving as one
Engagements are typically structured around a defined period, mandate and scope
Not sure which fits best? Let’s talk about what your business needs right now.
Proven in Practice.
SELECTED ENGAGEMENTS
Launching Through Uncertainty
New builds rarely survive one rebrand mid-construction, let alone three. A West Hollywood hotel was renamed under new ownership before it even opened, then launched under an interim identity while a full brand conversion was already underway behind the scenes. I rebuilt the positioning and messaging with each change, kept the launch team and press aligned on a moving story, and protected the partnerships and momentum the opening depended on. It opened as a boutique lifestyle destination without losing time, buzz, or ground.
Enterprise Brand Leadership
A growing real estate portfolio was running each brand as its own island, missing the lift a parent brand and its subsidiaries can give each other. I led the shift to a single "Build It Forward" brand architecture centered on community impact, aligning leadership around it and directing the agency and internal teams who built it out, including consolidating every brand onto one website. From there, we repositioned around clear audience segments, developing content, programs, and a post-purchase experience built for lasting loyalty.
Repositioning a Legacy Asset
A property that's cycled through a motor inn, a nightclub, and an artist hangout over the decades can end up with a reputation that outlasts any single era. I led the brand repositioning behind a 1920s Los Angeles landmark's adaptive reuse, reconnecting it with its original identity as a hotel built for professional women, and built the earned media strategy that carried the new brand story to national coverage. The relaunch shifted the guest profile, lifted ADR, and landed the property in the Leading Hotels of the World as an award-winning boutique lifestyle brand.
Reimagining a Destination Resort
A resort built around a casino can open on schedule and still be defined by only one part of what it offers. I defined the destination-level brand strategy that unified the guest experience across independently branded hotels, restaurants, and casino, positioning the resort as a single experience guests could move through from day to night. I drove the audience diversification strategy behind that positioning, then led the reputation management and crisis communications that carried the resort through a period of intense public and media scrutiny.
